This year has been crazy. My little family and I have been through a lot. Where to even start?

My children got a year older, it seems like it’s going by so fast. Next year the oldest will be starting school! I know he’ll love it because he loves to play with other kids and he loves to learn and play games so he will fit right in. The baby is already learning how to talk and it won’t be long until I have two miniature people following me around asking all kinds of questions.

The hubby and I celebrated our five year wedding anniversary. It’s been a challenging but amazing five years. He and I have been through a lot and it has only brought us closer together.

I lost my Uncle Bobby this year. He was my great uncle, my dad’s uncle. He was such a happy and silly old man. He and my Aunt Flossie took care of me when I was little so my parents could work and because of it we’ve always had a strong bond. He would always sing silly songs to us kids and called people Bushel Britches and would always remind me of all the silly things I did when I was little. I miss him.

I also lost my Aunt Linda, my dad’s sister. She was a feisty woman for sure. I loved that she was always on my side and was super encouraging and made me feel like I could accomplish whatever I wanted to do. She was a strong woman who lived a full life. I wasn’t able to make it to her funeral, I really wish I could have. If anything to be there for my Nana for losing her first born daughter.

We had to sell our house and find a new place to live. The mortgage company we had was the absolute worst and they made me not want to buy another house ever again. There was a lot that went on with that company but just know they were complete garbage and did nothing to help us at all, even though we tried our best to do all the right things to fix all the issues we had with them.

I switched jobs. Again. If you’ve read my previous posts you know that I don’t stay in one place too long. I needed something new, something that didn’t make want to commit violent crimes every time I walked into the door.

I reached my reading goal! I’ll talk all about it in another post, it’s coming soon.

I made new friends.

My hair was teal. That was fun, I might be doing another color soon…stay tuned.

This was the number one thing I am most proud of this year. I have wanted to start one for a long time and I finally did it this year. I love it. It has been one of the best things in my life so far. I consider it as my third child. I can’t wait for what’s to come in the future for my blog, it’s only going to get better!

Oh, and I got one of my short stories published!

I hope everyone has a really great year next year. I honestly feel like things are going to start looking up for me and mine so I hope that it will for you too. Here’s to 2019. Here’s to the road ahead!

By the way, THIS IS MY 100th POST!!!!!!
