This is the last fall eats. It was fun doing this series, it gave me an excuse to eat some awesome food and try new places.
I thought I’d finish it off with a place that I love and a place I want to share with all you out of towners: Jazmo’s Bourbon Street Cafe.
What was just supposed to be a dinner for two turned into a girl’s night out, but hey, I’m not mad about it. My friends Marissa, Kailee and Melinda joined me for night out that I have been needing. I was so glad I got to spend time with these ladies.
A little look of Bricktown. Their sign’s looking a little sad.
Caught a random guy in the window.
The ambiance was wonderful, as always. It just feels like my kind of place.
We started with their Crawfish Con Queso. The taste was great, we gobbled it up. I wish there had been more crawfish for the $10 price tag. They were all at the bottom and we had to dig deep for them resulting in a lot of cheese on our chips. It was pretty tasty though.
I ordered their Black Magic Catfish. Blackened catfish on top of a bed of dirty rice, smothered in crawfish etouffee. The veggies were pleasantly buttered and the catfish was perfect. The roux was a little darker than I prefer but it was still a great meal.
Kailee ordered the fried crawfish with fries and a side of mac’n cheese. She could only eat half before she got too full. They gave a pretty generous portion.
Marissa got the Chicken Bon Ton. She said the sauce was so good she had to ask for more to go with her leftovers. They even charged her for it!
Melinda got the New Orleans Style Fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken. I tried a bite, it was really good. I almost wish I would have gotten that instead.
They had live music, they’re right on the riverwalk, the vibe in Jazmo’s is pretty chill.
We got the hostess to take a photo of us after we had finished our dinner.
I had such a fun time with this series and I feel like with the last one I finally got this restaurant blogging thing down, of course. I hope you all have enjoyed my Fall Eats!
Ahh! I’m sad this is the last one. Hope to see more restaurant posts from you in the future!
This place looks absolutely delicious. I would love to try every single dish!! So glad you had a fun girls night out, Cadie!
