I was inspired by Jubilee’s post How Would Your Friends Describe You? to do this post. You can check it out here: https://magicintheeveryday.blog/

I love posts like that because I feel like it’s so rare these days for us to like ourselves or to be kind to ourselves.

I would say that my friends would describe me as:

  • A good listener
  • Loyal
  • Authentic
  • Harry Potter freak
  • Bookworm
  • Genuine
  • Emotional
  • Spontaneous
  • Sassy
  • Smart
  • Stubborn
  • Encouraging
  • A good mother
  • Strong
  • Fun

I have really great friends and family and I know that I am loved. I know that I am a responsible person who takes care of what’s important. I’m dependable and tough. I may get down every once in a while but I always get right back up and rise to the occasion. I have recognized who is there for me in my life and I stand by those who are. I have given up trying to please people who expect me to be there for them but have not shown me the same courtesy. I don’t sell myself short anymore. I feel that you should never stop trying to improve yourself, so I continue to work on myself every day.

I know a lot of people feel guilty about giving themselves credit or agreeing with others when they are complimented but you don’t have to feel guilty. It’s okay to like yourself. It’s okay to believe those people. You are the only you in existence, you are unique. Don’t sell yourself short, because no one will find another you. Own it. Be yourself and love who you are.

There is only one you for all time. Fearlessly be yourself Picture Quote #1
